Weekend from 8 to 10 October

We’ve been talking about the main event all week! Fleet Week is here! In the words of the Mayor of London Breed, the city is BUMPIN! But if you don’t like airplanes … or sailors … we have other ideas for you.

Calling all goblins, ghosts and witches! Boo at the Oakland Zoo starts Friday and runs every weekend in October! Go on a spooky animal themed scavenger hunt and find fun gifts. Instead of making treats at the zoo this year, staff will be handing out pre-stuffed gift bags to all the children. Make sure to book your tickets in advance.

This one’s an oldie, but a goodie. Every Saturday, the de Young Museum offers free general admission to the permanent galleries to all Bay Area residents. On top of that, the museum offers free general admission for essential workers until the end of the year. Just bring your work badge and you’re in.

Event availability may be subject to change. Always make sure to check the official event website before planning your weekend!
