The first exhibition of the season at the Maine Art Gallery will feature 103 works by 33 highly talented artists from Midcoast, Maine. Conservatives Jorge Pena and Colleen Kearney-Graffam asked the question “What inspires you? Each artist’s response included a few examples, as well as a personal statement about the creative process.
There are only a few days left until the show, but this is your chance to appreciate locally produced art and take it home at a very affordable price. The show runs from Wednesday to Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. until June 5.
The Main Art Gallery is a non-profit organization that aims to advance and preserve painting, sculpture, and the graphic arts through exhibitions, lectures, demonstrations, and educational programs for children and adults. In addition to the current exhibitions, the gallery holds art classes in June and July and holds online auctions until June 15.
