The Calendar Girls team will launch an exhibition of their paintings at the farm shop

ORIGINAL Calendar Girl Lynda Logan and her artist husband Terry Logan will be displaying a selection of their paintings at Mackenzies Farm Shop and Café at Blubberhouses starting this weekend.

The duo, who will exhibit their works for the first time in nine years; will donate 10% of all sales to the Blood Cancer UK charity.

Lynda is one of the original Calendar Girls, and her husband, Terry, was the photographer who took all of the calendar images. They were part of a team that helped raise over £5million for the Blood Cancer UK charity.

Five of the original Calendar Girls will be at the Farm Shop, Hardisty Hill on the A59 at 11am Saturday for the launch. Free canopies and drinks will be offered. The exhibition will continue until April 30 with one or both artists present every day between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Terry will be exhibiting a range of landscape watercolours, pastels and oil paintings as well as several equestrian paintings. Lynda will exhibit her flower paintings and animal studies.

Mackenzies Farm Shop and Cafe owner Paul Palmer said: “We are delighted to have Lynda and Terry exhibiting with us in the gallery. Their previous work for charity has been exceptional and we are delighted to help raise even more. We look forward to seeing you all visit and meet them.
