Community event of the year offers something for everyone at the Brewster Fall Festival
Celebrate our community with family entertainment, live entertainment, games, vendor fair and fabulous food
Prepare to spend September 19 at the 29th Annual Brewster Fall Festival, as Main Street in Brewster, NY is transformed into this annual community celebration. The Cultural Arts Coalition is proud to organize this FREE event for the whole family. The last time we hosted the event, there were over 125 booths, 2 stages of free entertainment and over 4000 attendees!
Along Main Street there will be a variety of merchants, community organizations, local businesses, artisans, artists, veterans organizations, politicians, historical societies, service providers health and wellness, jewelry, books, churches and food vendors.
Come with an appetite as the Brewster Fall Festival offers a variety of culinary delights including barbecues, burgers, hot dogs, vegans, Italians, tacos, drinks, ice cream and baked goods.
Live music and free entertainment will be offered throughout the day. Three venues will be set up for entertainment including the group stage, community stage and introductory performances on the stage of our Old Town Hall theater. A wide variety of artists from our region donate their time – from Seven Stars School to Independence Band and 1/3 of Sophie, there will be entertainment for everyone throughout the day! The Cultural Arts Coalition is hosting the Brewster Fall Festival as a fundraiser for the restoration of the Old Town Hall, so stop by the stage at 67 Main Street to see the theater and hear about the restoration progress theater.
The Brewster Fall Festival is the perfect event for people new and not so new to the area to experience all of the amazing things our community has to offer. A dedicated team of volunteers help showcase the best of the community while helping to raise funds for the restoration of the Old Town Hall Theater at 67 Main Street in Brewster.

“The Cultural Arts Coalition intends to bring even more entertainment, education and art to our community,” says Judy Marano, President of the Cultural Arts Coalition. “Events like the Brewster Fall Festival showcase our community and demonstrate the value of having a cultural center in the heart of Brewster Village.
The Coalition of Cultural Arts, in cooperation with the city of South East, is leading the restoration and reopening of the theater of the old town hall. Once restored, the theater will accommodate 200 or more spectators and will provide space for music concerts, theatrical productions, dance performances, film screenings, lectures and meetings. The total cost of the restoration is estimated at over $ 3 million.
The Brewster Fall Festival will take place on Sunday, September 19, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free parking is available Tristate Commuter Lot on Park Street and Morningthorpe Ave. A Putnam County streetcar service will be available to bring festival-goers between this parking lot and Main Street throughout the day.
