Phillips and Poly Auction will present an unprecedented sale of contemporary art

The two famous auction houses will hold a collaborative sale in Hong Kong in November.

For the first time, Phillips and Poly Auction are teaming up to offer collectors and art lovers the opportunity to view collections that showcase the best of 20and century and contemporary art.

The partnership with China’s leading auction house, Poly, is a monumental step for Phillips. “As Asia continues to emerge as an important art market region, this mutually beneficial partnership will allow Phillips to establish a broader foothold in Greater China, while providing Poly with our global reach and commitment to expanding further our presence in this important market,” said Edward Dolman, CEO of Phillips.

Relatively new to the auction scene since opening its Asian headquarters in Hong Kong in 2015, Phillips has already gained a growing presence and popularity on this side of the world. This joint venture with Poly will be Phillips’ ninth round of auctions in Hong Kong. Expected to follow in the footsteps of its eight previous auctions, the November sales are also expected to post record results.
