The Franklin County Arts Council sponsors the Diversity in the arts event on Saturday June 25, 2022, 10am-4pm. This unique day showcasing diversity is open to the public and will be held at Louisburg College JPAC, located at 501 N Main Street, Louisburg, North Carolina.

Enjoy a day showcasing diversity. The morning will begin with international shorts followed by the Native American dance group One Spirit before a lunch break. Enjoy Mariachi Angel’s mid tier mariachi band with your lunch.

Live music fills the afternoon. Dunston Family Gospel will kick off the afternoon inside CCPM, followed by Overtone Productions. Mr. Overtone’s musical career began in New York at Queens College in Flushing NY. He performs all musical genres.

The energetic Jazz/Funk musician and saxophonist composer Freddy Greene “Street Genie” will close the day with a jazz concert. “He weaves the soft, mellow sounds of classic jazz with innovative funk.”
