Licensing International announced that four students have been selected to receive the first International Licensing Scholarships.
The program, led by the Licensing International Foundation, awards scholarships to people around the world interested in a career in the field of trademark licensing. Scholarships are available for students seeking degrees in business, marketing, design, engineering, entrepreneurial studies, e-commerce, and other programs related to the brand licensing industry.
“The scholarship program is a key part of Licensing International’s mission to inspire the next generation of talent globally while advancing the understanding of licensing in society,” said Maura Regan, President of Licensing International . “We are delighted to award the first international bachelor’s scholarships to these four exceptional students. “
The recipients are:
Shaina Hershberg – LIM College, 2022
Clay lute – LIM College, 2023
Daliya Khalikova – LIM College, graduate program
Magali Souffrant, New York University, 2025
Two of the recipients, Shaina Hershberg and Clay Lute, received the “Craft Scholarship,” sponsored by Handcraft Manufacturing – an industry leading manufacturer.
“Handcraft is honored to be able to help strengthen the licensing industry by helping to encourage and support the next generation of licensing professionals,” said Marshall Mizrahi, vice president of Handcraft Manufacturing. “We recognized the importance of attracting new young talent and what this would mean for the overall success of our industry.”
The International Bachelor’s Degree Scholarship Program is funded by direct donations from the branded licensing community and by the creation of named / sponsored scholarships from donors seeking to celebrate their commitment to education and licensing industry.
