Friends of Wheaton Library is hosting a holiday book and art sale November 11-14

The Friends of Wheaton Public Library are busy preparing for the return of the popular holiday book and art sale from November 11-14.

The sale features like-new gift books for children and adults, leather-bound treasures, autographed copies, Christmas items, first editions, nostalgia items, silent auctions, and framed and unframed artwork. framed.

All items for sale have been donated to Friends and are individually priced.

This year’s silent auction items include a full collection of classic comics, a collection of Star War items, and a massive stack of 45s in its 1960s carrying case.

Sales hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, November 11; 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, November 12; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, November 13; and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, November 15.

The Friends of the Wheaton Library began in 2003. Anyone can become a member by completing the application form and paying the annual membership fees, which range from $ 10 for seniors to $ 50 for “Best Friends” .
