Having established itself firmly in the UK market with the consumer electronics brand, Lazor has made a foray into the Mena region. The brand will be headquartered in the Mena region of Dubai, synonymous with shopping malls and chic penthouses.

Seokpyo Yang, CEO of Lazor, spoke at length about his expansion plans and said, “After spending more than two decades at Samsung Electronics and later working for Eros, Dubai has been his dream destination for any consumer electronics brand with such diversity.

“Dubai has definitely been on my map for expansion for some time now as the ‘City of Wonders’ is one of the fastest growing cities in the world with world-class state-of-the-art infrastructure, booming tourism boom, strong and transparent regulations, and no other city in the world offers as much variety in consumer electronics as this city, Yang added.

“We seek to provide premium British quality to customers in the Mena region and having a head office in Dubai will help us grow and penetrate the market.”

Yang echoed that the reason for expanding into the Mena region was to improve the technology ecosystem and take innovation to the next level, as the brand consistently brings value to the industry and to the society as a whole.

The expansion also coincided with a six-month exhibition, held under the central theme “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future”, which defied the enormous challenge of the COVID-19 pandemic, with resounding success.

“Expo 2020 Dubai welcomed millions of visitors from all over the world, it was the first global exhibition held in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia (MEASA) region and the first organized by an Arab nation.”

A consumer electronics brand, Lazor is a business-to-business and consumer smart manufacturing company that offers a wide range of modern gadgets, smartwatches and audio.
